That fails as both music and as a rousing political message.

BTW, what is it with the Black Eyed Peas thing? I guess I'm getting old but I see them way too much in too much commercialized stuff (thinking Apple products, other commercials, etc). It puts me off. Just sayin.

Creepy is right! This is exactly the image Obama is trying NOT to project. This militant, we-know-best-and-now-we're-doing-it-our-way liberal tone. The guy saying "Si se puede" with the clenched fist salute loses Obama five percent of the vote all by itself.

If Obama's supporters know what's good for their candidate, they'll keep this stuff to a minimum.

yah this thing is corny, and epitomizes the whole paultardedness of obama folks that is driving me so crazy. i keep trying to pretend that he's already won the nomination and placing myself in the mindset that it is him vs. mccain or anyone else. it makes it difficult. its like a bad superbowl commercial.

Not surprisingly, I'm no fan of this. It's bad on the ears and reminds me of "PBS Salutes Black History Month" montage of children reciting King's "I Have a Dream." Super hokey.

However, I have had that horrible horrible Seattle Obama song stuck in my head when I'm showering for the past three days.

Scarlett Johansson is indeed hot - she just exudes sex in her few shots here... but somehow it still annoys me that she is in there singing. It just seems phony, like those AIDS celebrity posters a while ago. Actually, the whole thing is phony. Part of me liked it; I don't think its creepy; but lately even this type of warm fuzzy rhetoric makes me sort of sick.
