Reflections! Pretty! There's only one ingredient to a great photo: get a reflection in there. If there were no plate glass windows, photography wouldn't even be an art form.
How nice that Yahoo!-owned Flickr and the Stranger seem to have reached a mutually beneficial contractual agreement for the Stranger to include the brand name in one blog post per day. Journalism is awesome, no? Any Slog readers in China care to comment?
Reuters, Jan. 3, 2008:
"The effect of Chinese laws on American Internet companies operating in the country recently came under the spotlight as two Chinese journalists were jailed after Yahoo Inc. provided Chinese authorities with information about their online activities. Both journalists are serving 10-year prison sentences.
In November, Yahoo settled a lawsuit, agreeing to pay the attorneys' fees of the journalists. Yahoo also said it would "provide financial, humanitarian and legal support to these families." No other details of the settlement were disclosed."

At first, I was excited to see Frederick & Nelson, then I realized it was The Bon Marche.
Then I remembered both of them are gone, and I was left with this mishmash of an 80's era senior portrait (uh_ beat me to that one, but it's very true, so I will repeat it)

I nominate this for "Worst Flickr Photo of the Day." Boring and cluttered.

Yeah, I'm calling bullshit on this "relfections in photgoraphy" meme.

(Ha on me: I posted @4 using a Yahoo! email account.)
This is like a bad senior portrait... There has to be some better stuff in the flickr pool.

When I dream of my woman, I am reminded of her ability to conjure civic flowerpots and schlumpy, balding lumpens in t-shirts and jeans.
Yes. My woman, she does this and more to me.
(All that said, the chick is pretty hot looking.)
If it's a real woman and not a doll, her head is pretty fucked up. Her eyes are much, much closer to her chin than the top of her head.
this picture is like my girlfriend in bed: ugly and boring.
