Clearly, Sandra Oh is the Martin Luther King Jr. of the Hollywood Writers Strike

Tremendous. I’d vote for her.

(Thanks, Towleroad.)

She's compelling, as always; but I could've done without all the eerie communist imagery around her. It's about getting paid money, after all, not about establishing some kind of classless Hollywood proletariat state.

Not to discount what she has to say, but I don't think MLK did quite that much squeaking.

I'd vote for her to. Vote for her alllllll night long. She was so sexy when she was beating the shit out of the dude from "Wings" with her motorcycle helmet.

Don't boycotts not work at all anymore? It seems like she could advocate some kind of effective strategy instead. The shaming is probably a good start.

The last quote: "We are all in this together!"

Imagine that being said at a rally outside the Capitol building as the House debated ENDA.

Passionate speeches. Thousands of energized supporters. Clarity of purpose. Unity.

Nah....who am I kidding? People don't organize behind principles of fairness and justice anymore. That would be stupid. What a waste of democracy.

Haven't they heard of incremental steps?

I still don't get why she's a sex symbol.

But a cool speech.

Yes, because god knows we wouldn't want anyone taking pride in what they do.

Imagine that being said at a rally outside the Capitol building as the House debated ENDA.

Apples and oranges. Get over yourself.

Too bad she was voted one of the top 5 Unsexiest Woman of America. Oh well. We can't all be cool AND hot.

"Especialy when she yells Sony and they yell Share! Sony and Share."

ha ha ha ha ha. Awesome.

I'm guessing when the writers go back to work, Sandra Oh's character on "Grey's Anatomy "will have some incredible plotlines.

Ok, I'm late in commenting, but:

Do any of you think about what you're watching? She's stating that because it's a solidarity rally. It is relevant that she is not a writer. They are not cheering her being an actor, but an actor speaking on their behalf.
Effectively, at that.
