France at the gate of Gattaca:
France’s parliament has passed a new bill that introduces tighter curbs on foreigners hoping to join relatives in France - including possible DNA tests.The controversial bill was passed in both the country’s National Assembly and in the Senate.
Not exactly what I would call the gate of Gattaca, but props for bringing it up, because I love that movie and often forget about it. One of the best scores, too.
What's the big deal? If you have no papers and want to prove a family relation, DNA is a pretty good way to do it.
Such a fantastic movie. Fantastic, fantastic.
Just watched 'Gattaca' for the first time since it came out ten years ago. Tremendous. Maybe the most underrated great film of the last decade.
