Expecting musicians to be great interviewees is like expecting baseball players to be outstanding photographers. It's possible, but not very likely; they've been selected for their music, not their talking.
Also, they are not native English speakers, are they?
"I don't know" is as succinct and honest as anyone can answer such a bullshit and heady question.
Hey, keep the music on Line Out! Slog is reserved for the real, genius-worthy arts only!
Eric is spunky today.
I agree with Fnarf 100%. Musicians shouldn't be giving interviews anyway... their contribution to society is music, not their life stories.

Or their moron political opinions.
Sounds like some sour poopy pants here.
Wow, them some fighting words Carollani. While I don't think we should expect musicians (esp those who don't speak English that well) to be the most brilliant interviewees, it seems a little much to suggest that no musicians should give interviews ever.
I think they were just too busy fucking alien dolphins.
I consider Sigur Ros' music to be one long pause.
their publicist called and requested this interview, so they should be ready to answer a few questions and not act like pathetic pretentious fuckballs.
Thanks for posting about this . . . I was told all about it last night, and completely forgot about it today. Would've made good Lineout material, but you scooped us!
Aww jeah. I scooped someone.
