Republican Cash Infusion

posted by on October 23 at 17:33 PM

The King County Republicans—you know, the ones the King County Prosecutors Office went easy on during the whole voter challenge scandal—well, they must be getting nervous about Democratic challenger Bill Sherman (SECB-endorsed here).

The GOP candidate, interim KC Prosecutor Dan Satterberg—chief of staff for the KC prosecutor during the voter challenge scandal—is reporting a $17,500 download from the KC Republican Party from October 15th. That brings the local party’s total Satterberg contributions to $23,400.

There have also been some in-kind contributions to Satterberg from the local party that have come in after the latest filing, totaling $10,742.

Overall: Satterberg has raised about $300,000 to Sherman’s $170,000.

I hear the polling is pretty bad for Satterburg.

Voted for Sherman. So did my girlfriend.

Sherman was polling six percentage points ahead of Satterberg in a poll taken just as absentee ballots were about to drop. Barring some new adverse development for Sherman, or a sudden and precipitous shift towards the Republican Party across King County, it's his to lose...

Satterberg is a Catholic conservative fuckwad, like Dino Rossi, only perhaps smarter. To hell with them.

As the campaign matured, it has become plain Satterberg has played politics. And he is an R.

So, if we are to play politics too, the Dems will strike back.

Danny is talented, will have no trouble finding work.

Sherman is a shoo.

Dan was playing favorites when he let the woman Setelo do all the perjury against good voters - then kicked the lady who registered her dog to show how they system was flawed.

The dog voting trick to illustrate a poor verification system was brilliant and deserved a civic award - she was cited with a criminal charge.

The other dame who was an R. activist deserved at lease a severe public scolding, got nothing.

Tooooo partisan, Danny.

The guy claims to be non-partisan, but just look at his endorsements. Any friend of Dave Reichert's is NOT a friend of justice!

I am a gay male living with HIV/AIDS. I have to express my support for Dan Satterburg. I have personally worked with him prior to I-692/ Medical Marijuana Law came out to protect the sick and disabled from prosecution for over a decade now. He has been on the patients side the whole time before there was a law in place. He has a proven track record and we need to recognize, respect and retain him as prosecuting attorney, even though he's a Rep.
