Talking Point: Traffic is not bad enough yet to REALLY get rail (elevated or otherwise). People are NOT demanding it with their choices, they are demanding it with their voices. BIG BIG DIFFERENCE THERE. When the buses are full 24/7 then the need for more mass transit will be apparent. Vote NO on the RTID.

Talk about why some people can claim to be FOR light rail, yet so oblivious to the political realities around them, that they vote AGAINST the only proposal available to build it?
I don't think I will EVER understand.

Uh-oh. Watchmen, of course, not Watchtower, though annoying, the latter are fairly harmless peddlers of tabloid religion and don't merit public protest.
Ask about how much the RTID/ST2 proponents had to drink before they tried to sell us their incredibly bad plan.
Especially since the US Senate is holding hearings on a law requiring all vehicle and transit emissions per state to be reduced 70 percent by 2020, while the RTID/ST2 increases them.

About Chris Dodd placing a hold on a bill which contained a measure giving immunity to telecom companies over the warrantless wiretapping program.
See:
Steve Scher does not read the ANTI-KUOW SLOG so maybe you can innocently ask him his reaction to why Annie Wagner thinks he's incompetent compared to her, of course. More importantly raise the question of why more women hate Hillary than men? and why? Demand credibility.
Actually, it'd also be cool if you brought up the Tuesday Frontline episode on more ways Dick Cheney is subverting the U.S. Constitution to make our President our King, and why the D's are fighting for children's health care (good) but wimp out on pulling our troops from Iraq, citizen protections from our BIG government, or making the administration follow the laws of the land instead of issuing signing statements saying Bush doesn't have to follow the law (or Constitution).
You could also discuss that Bruce Harrell wanted to put up a new anti-Venus website called drunkenplanet.com, but that web address was already taken. He's following Jack's advice to start the drunkdriverVenus.com website instead.
Venus will counter by saying she's a nicer drunk than Jane Hague, and actually has a Bachelor's degree (and Master's, for that matter). Venus will also say that she meant to get caught drunk driving to illustrate how important that we pass Proposition 1 and give drinkers more alternatives to get home.
You could also ask why more hasn't been made of the fact that the Seattle Times reported on Saturday: "When Jane Hague was appointed King County's manager of records and elections in 1986, she submitted a résumé that claimed a college degree she didn't have." Isn't that illegal or something?
I was gonna chime in, given that you're asking this question a 2nd time, implying that you're at a loss for topics... but the suggestions here are copious.
And when you ask the one about throwing up in your mouth, ask if this might be a warning sign that one is developing possible heart or gastric problems, and will deep.t.r.a.ing a banana solve this.

Well, DUI and DV arrests of local political candidates obviously!
And "Why the Stranger Hates Light Rail"

Don't talk about anything of substance. Talk about Marty Griswold super sexy looks like I asked last time you asked what you should talk about.
How little you write on Slog?
Please at least mention the Watchtower group, their aims and the protest.
Those fuckers need to fix their signal!
Me.
Uh-oh. Watchmen, of course, not Watchtower, though annoying, the latter are fairly harmless peddlers of tabloid religion and don't merit public protest.
Please talk about how Seattle hates dangerous bicyclists who run red lights, but doesn't care all that much about politicians who drink and drive.
Also, PITBULLS!
talk about how KUOW local programming sucks.
Furnishings, Dinnerware and the Bible as Literature.
Ooooh! What Bellevue Ave said.

You should bring up your endorsement of a "no" vote on Prop 1. After I-776 and the monorail, it's proof that The Stranger has the reverse Midas touch.
Windstorm '07!!
talk about your plans to keep supporting drunk driver Venus

Perhaps you can explain, on air, why KUOW is on the Slog enemies list. :-)
Is throwing up in your mouth a little funny or not?
how the only stories people want you to talk about were written by other people?
Steve Scher does not read the ANTI-KUOW SLOG so maybe you can innocently ask him his reaction to why Annie Wagner thinks he's incompetent compared to her, of course. More importantly raise the question of why more women hate Hillary than men? and why? Demand credibility.
...sorry about the why-redundancy-effect
How about the US Senate hearings on 70 percent mandatory reduction in global warming emissions by 2020 for all vehicles, transit, and utilities?
Snap.
oh and the Sen Dodd thing is good too.
Talk about how you're going to take back your endorsement of that drunken politician Venus.
Why a mother of 2 small kids is out drinking and driving after midnight mid-week when she's supposedly sooooo committed to them?
Or maybe why she's already trying to put a spin on it?
You can ask Westneat if he still is employed by the Times after criticizing their backwards editorial board on Wednesday here http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2003955620_danny17.html . It was a great column, by the way.

Icarus - I think you meant "wind event '07" - termed by KOMO's Double Doppler Experts.
@31 - I know. Disappointing. Nobody got blown last nite.
WoW! Somebody REALLY doesn't like that Venus Velasquez woman...
I'd like to hear Eli's spin on the Jim Craig debacle.
Why KUOW keeps holding pledge drives when they already have $2.5 mm in the bank.
That, and how much everybody there misses Ken Vincent.
Oh, and why KPLU beats their freaken asses in the news dept.
