Re: Tailgating
"You don't want to be too much of a stickler, you just want people to have a good time."
Noted. I'll just tell the friendly SPD who tries to cite me the next time I get hassled for having an open container in the park that he's being "a stickler", and he'll just hand me a flyer, right?
Another clear example of: "when one person does it, it's a crime; when 10,000 people do it, it's an indiscretion".
Here's some news: Venus pleads not guilty.
FTFA:
"I made a mistake," she said after her arraignment. "The responsibility is here. The blame is no one else's but my own."
When asked what, exactly, she accepted blame for, she replied "for driving and not taking a cab."
...
Are you serious? I'm not guilty, so please don't fine me or put me on probation. But i'm taking responsibility for not taking a cab even though I wasn't drunk and am not guilty.
WTF kind of definition of "taking responsibility" is she operating on?
Slodance in the hizzouse.
