I sincerely doubt this woman did much to the boyfriend in question. Women like that rarely blame the person truly responsible. He probably blamed the kid, the "mother" forgave him and then decided to punish the daughter.

People who have sex with 13-year-olds often will say that it was consenual. The kid is sexually aggressive or mature or "wanted it."

This kind of story happens in different forms all the time. And in many cases, there's a stupid woman willing to blame their kid or look the other way, rather than do the job they're supposed to do when they have the kid -- that would be to protect from predators, even if said predator is also a meal ticket or bed buddy.

I'm a former reporter. I remember a guy in northeastern Missouri who was rung up on 12 or so counts of child abuse. He told the state trooper investigating the case that his daughter had forced HIM to have sex with HER.

As if somehow a 13 (or 8) year old would generally even be capable of forcing a grown man to have sex with them. Men can certainly be raped, but generally not by children.

Pedophiles often date women with children because they know it's an effective way to get close to them and often a good way to have immunity from parent prosecution.

Today (Fri. 26th). A story in the wire service news stated that the jury has acquitted the mother of abuse charges. I cannot understand how a group of people could come to that conclusion but they did. The piercer got a year and the mother's boyfriend's trial for statutory rape is pending.
