'Czech Dream' at Northwest Film Forum
These two film students in the Czech Republic decide to conceive of and advertise a huge temporary shopping center. They hire image professionals and a slick Prague ad agency and attract lots of attention. There's only one catch: The whole thing is a hoax. The consumers don't find out until they show up to consume. It's a comedy, but it's tense, and it actually happened. See review, page 82. (Northwest Film Forum, 1515 12th Ave, 267-5380. 7 and 9:15 pm, $8.50.)

The Owen Wilson story is a hoax as well. I just got a call from my grandmother. Nathaniel, a cousin of mine I barely know, has gotten his pelvis crushed by a UK Hummer.
Just got an email from my sister-in-law. Nathaniel's platoon leader apparently had the nickname, "Genius"
holy heck, czeck check (tap tap tap) is this thing working? check czeck.... Suzanne vega laid it down last nite, no need to drool any longer. but sheesh!!! i had no idea that i would completely forget to not notice a recap of the anticipation for the big seattle show - Rilo Kiley - it is 'Bad News' and it's catchy!!
