once again, hillary gave the only well-rounded answer, through which she'd clearly thought before. that said, romney is a jerk. and i really love watching john "i'm on a journey with that" edwards attempting to tackle the gay rights questions. his silly insistance that 2nd grade may be too soon was just so awkward.
perhaps a better question - if a second grader with two daddies is getting picked on by a bunch of bullies with mommies and daddies, should the teacher defend the child with two daddies or is that bad because they're supporting/defending THE GAYS?
Hm?
Mitt Romney issued a statement this morning condemning himself for being a bloated, cultist asshat whose stuck in 1824. His three wives were not available for comment.
and mitt won't win any extra votes for his side with that statement, so who cares? the only people favorably impressed with his "condemnations" are the people who weren't gonna vote for a dem anyway.
SENATOR CLINTON: "...I think every one of us on this stage are really personally opposed to that and will do everything we can to prevent it."
Hillary Clinton is such a two-faced bitch and that's the best thing I can say about her.
how is this a "gay rights" issue? give me a break!
edwards actually seems genuine, but he still comes across as patronizing. it's ridiculous to hear him cry the "discrimination" that gay couples face "every day," because the BIGGEST discrimination is the denial of equal marriage rights! which edwards supports! and which he points out that his daughter and wife think he's wrong on! so the "every day discrimination" language is hollow and patronizing.
obama's answer--about how politicians exploit fear of difference--was the best.

Original Andrew, I believe you misread the quote. The "that" to which Hillary was referring was "differences used for divisive purposes".
But for calling our front-running Democrat a "bitch", thus using her gender against her, a hearty FUCK YOU.
Oh Big Sven, take a chill-pill. I call everyone bitches. It has nothing to do with gender.
*Gulp*. OK. Chill pill taken. But did it have to be a suppository?
OA, if you really call everyone bitches, then I take back what I said. If that's possible.
Here is Romney's full statement:
"Last night's debate was just the latest example of how out of touch the Democratic presidential candidates are with the American people. Not one candidate was uncomfortable with young children learning about same-sex marriage in the second grade. This is a subject that should be left to parents, not public school teachers. We need to strengthen our families by passing a federal marriage amendment and also insisting on marriage before having children. Change in Washington requires Democrats with the courage to stand-up to their ultra liberal base and do what's right for our children."
I take this as a call to abort kiddies born to single mommies, no?
