The FEC has tossed a complaint against DailyKos.
This is big news for bloggers and the netroots.
The complaint alleged that Kos was a political campaign committee and should be subject to campaign finance laws or else should stop pimping for Democrats.
The FEC said nope. Kos is just like a newspaper editorial page.

Hey, if DailyKos isn't, then why does my print edition of the Wall Street Journal keep shilling for in-the-closet Republicans and Bush's War Of Lies?

A victory for Kos and bloggers everywhere - even Kos's mortal enemy Little Green Footballs is applauding the ruling.
Lefty bloggers such as yourself are toadies, but that doesn't make the complaint right.
By that view, anyone, whether on blogs or in the media or anyone interviewed in the media, who states a supporting opinion for any candidate is a PCC, and then there's a whole can of worms opened.
