Overheard near 11th and Pine at about 1 p.m.:
A worker from the construction site on 12th stops a passerby and points toward the fencing and stages are being set up, "Hey, what is this thing?"
"Uh, I dunno," the passerby said. "It's the Capitol Hill something... The Capitol Hill Something Fest. That's it"
w00t!
The link for the Daft Punk whatnot doesn't seem to be there.
when is the block party again? seriouly, how many times does this need to be posted on your blog?
Capitol Hill Sausage Fest? Now there's an event!
I don't think I've ever seen such relentless promotion. Seriously, how many people are going to actually read the minute-by-minute coverage? Can we just get this over with?
