A worker at the South Seattle Seadrunar recycling plant was taken to Harborview Medical Center after being crushed by a machine Tuesday morning.“What we have been told was this was one of the employees who was working on the hydraulic lift system for the Dumpsters,” Seattle Fire Department spokeswoman Helen Fitzpatrick said.
The man appears to have accidentally hit a switch while working on the lift just before 11a.m. The machinery crushed his head, Fitzpatrick said.

Man, that's absolutely scary.
Not to downplay an unfortunate accident, but... am I the only one thinking Kids In The Hall?
That settles it, recycling is too dangerous to allow!
I'm afraid my mind went right to Phil Leotardo, sound effects included.
#2 No, I thought the same thing. Also The Office.
The city will fine the guy for recycling a non-recyclable object though.
I'm pretty sure I worked in that very recycling plant, once upon a time.
Just curious: on a day when NYC Mayor Bloomberg threatened to sink Dem presidential chances and Obama threw a big "fuck you" to the Indian subcontinent, why is this news?
