Yeah, the Global Warming report with the happy news that it is too damn late to do much about it. I just would like to say the lefties have been screaming about this for DECADES!!! The decision on Viaduct ballot language is irrelevant.

The Governor sent a letter to WSDOT and the Expert Review Panel asking whether the tunnel lite is likely to get federal permits. The answer is no. No federal permits = no federal funding = no state funding = no tunnel lite. She wants a reply on February 13.

Mark it on your calendar, folks: the obituary notice for the tunnel lite will run on February 13, even if the funeral won’t be held until March 13.

It would be great if someone set up a website documenting all the scientists who accept AEI's offer. If they want to throw away their credibility for $10,000, go ahead.

It does seem like 10 grand is chump change. But what does it take to be a "scientist"? Maybe anybody with a associatees degree in chemestry can be a "scientist."

On the ATHF light display/bomb-

I am not sure if the city of Boston should be taking this so seriously, since they were apparently sitting in plain site, unnotice by anyone for a couple weeks. So if it was a bomb or something serious, the story would be Boston being incompetent.

Well, whatever you think about Boston's reaction or the light-thingamabobbers themselves, you have to admit that the whole uproar is *incredible* advertising for ATHF - all sorts of people will start tuning in just to see what all the fuss is about.

Just want to let some know that the ice caps, are also melting because of volcanic activity under them. Its not just coming from above sea level. the Earth has something to do with it as well.
We just kick global warming into high gear us puny humans. But if you step out the box and study other planets and there history you may learn something. Look at Neptune , Venus, Mars for example. Is our planet not capable of going through a natural change as well. And if the Sea is getting warm its because of Volcanos. And that is where the debate has been going in the Scientific world. This revelation is nothing new and it should get you people to think about the power of the universe a little more. We are next next for something in the cosmic dance of death and rebirth. Perfect Typical Earth Planet to uninhabitable gas furnace planet. We better stop what were doing and figure something now asap. and if its going to cost money so what. thats a lot better than spending money on fighting eachother on this planet. And NT2002 and some other Asteroids want to say Hi in the future. I hope we have figured out what to do then as well. But watching where our money goes so far and the Billions and Zillions wasted on War. For the last century. We had a good thing going during the Russian and American space race. What happened? Oh yeah the Pentagon had to get all military on everybody. We had to have little excursions around the world, spreading liberty and democracy and money like we were Santa Clause.

We are doomed.

And little electric cars are going to buy you and your future generations some time, but it will not stop Natural Catastrophe. Only if we start figuring out how to get us off this planet or stop that cycle is going to save our asses. But we rather spend the money on War and cool looking jets with laser beams. Our priorities are screwed. Thank the lucky stars we have scientists, but they come second when it comes to the War Machine and its needs. I'm not talking about the troops, they're cool with me.
I'm talking about the Pentagon and miltitary advisors (and that goes for Russia and china too) sucking the life and money from every endeavor for peace and exploration that mankind tries to achieve. Why do we need a new supersonic jet with laser beams , when we could start practicing how to deflect an Asteroid right now. The only money our scientists have now is to observe and theorize. But no one is taking any steps to enact training or steps to do something.
Whats that jet with laser beams going to do, fly into space and zap the asteroid? Has it been proven that we can save this planet from NT2002?
Are we going to actually do something about global warming or just conjecture and say we can try to save this planet. The next slogan for protest should not be "No more War"
It should be "No more Money"
