Arts You May See This On Saturday

SAM’s installing it in the Olympic Sculpture Park from 10:30 am to 2 pm. The park is still closed to the public until the end of January, but the art is going in piece by piece. (Naturally, the Bourgeois father-son fountain comes last.)

For anyone who cares, it's Claes Oldenburg & Coosje van Bruggen's "Typewriter Eraser, Scale X" that's going up in the sculpture garden.

And it's on loan from the Paul Allen Family Collection...

The Stranger seems to get its swipes in all of the time - but I don't care what they say - Paul Allen has done a hell of a lot for this community.
