so, this makes it pretty clear that he bailed from SSO, instead of being forced out? these searches take time, the Baltimore SO must have been courting him long before he resigned. he had a place to go, got fed up with the antics at SSO and fled?
or did he get shoved out, and call Baltimore SO the next minute - "hey guys, found anybody yet?"
