Karr Won’t Be Charged

Posted by on August 28 at 13:20 PM

There was no DNA match. Not guilty, just crazy. But, hey, that media frenzy sure was fun to watch.

I hope all the network and cable "journalists" gets their asses handed to them like Dan Rather did. What a fucking waste of time and energy.

How many Iraqi civilians died last weekend?

How many US soldiers died?

Who is guilty for those murders?

John Ramsey.

Keith Olbermann of MSNBC did the smartest coverage of this I've seen. He did a compilation of all the "Breaking News" pieces of this story, including minute-by-minute updates on where the plane was that was flying this schmuck into Boulder. It was a very droll commentary on all the idiots in the media who got caught up in the frenzy.

Olbermann is almost always spot on. Which makes it even funnier, and sadder, that he has to participate in lead-ins to the unbelievable Rita Cosby crime-porn show -- the one that makes Nancy Grace look charming and intelligent by comparison.

Anyone watch Veronica Mars? This is beginning to have a very similar feel to the Lily Kane murder.

Does Karr have a terminal disease? Is there a disgraced sheriff somewhere in exile because he accused the parents? Does he have a plucky daughter in high school who moonlights as PI?

And most importantly, is there a washed up movie star who was a friend of the family?

Something funny's going on. There's still all those charges in Thailand, and the kiddy-porn charges in California -- but they didn't hold him? Hmm. I'm a hell of a lot more interested in the mixed-up world of Mr. Karr than I am in Jonbenet's killer. I want to know in exactly what damaged fantasy world he thinks he was "with her". I think he thinks he's an angel. They should give him his own talk show.

I have to agree with Paul and Fnarf; Olbermann's coverage has been great. I loved the clip from CNN he included where the correspondent was grilled by the anchor about the "size" of the "glass box" that was being wheeled into the court room.

the questions were something to the effect of "is this a human-sized glass box or a little glass box?" to which the correspondent replied "its a big glass box". Inquiring minds have to know!

Is that his mug shot on the website? It looks like someone photoshopped him to appear extra-creepy. And how come they didn't use the photos of JonBenet where she's covered in make-up like a two-bit whore? I guess it's better that way. She didn't get any respect when she was alive (esp. from dear ol' mama), she might as well get some when she's dead.

Fnarf, actually Karr does remain in county jail, here in Boulder, My Fair City. The DA nuked the case, and so he is no longer in "Colorado custody", whatever that means. He remains in jail pending extradition to California. He has been exposed as one of the creepiest, most pathetic attention seekers of all time. If he gets out of jail now, I hate to think of how he might set about "redeeming" himself. I hope California finds a way to put him in prison.

I hope the media find a way to discover the real reason behind the invasion of Iraq or shed some light any of a number of indecent activities of this administration.

I don't give a shit about Karr. Washington DC is full of creepy, pathetic assholes that get too little attention and have far greater impact on our lives than that ugly pervert.
