Attention citizens: As I mentioned last week, tonight brings your chance to affect some positive change in network television broadcasting.
At 8pm on NBC (that’s channel 5 for all us cable not-havers), Project Runway will air the second episode of its brand-new third season. Should enough of us tune in and kick the ratings high enough, the greatest show on cable will make the leap to network television.
Do your duty. 8pm. NBC. Tonight.

The greatest show on cable? Um, I like Project Runway - which is weird, because I'm not interested in haute couture and the people are all like alien beings to me - but please, it's not even close to being the best show on cable. Can you say Rescue Me?
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for PR reaching a wider audience, but if it gets bumped from cable to broadcast it'll get watered-down and focus-grouped beyond recognition. Bleh! Keep it on basic cable away from the meddling of network suits, I say.
