Re: Holy… Shit… Harper’s… Oh… My… God…

A leftist chap from London shares Mr. Metcalf’s sentiments (albeit to a lesser degree) and is met with an avalanche of criticism and talk of a police investigation.

On a totally unrelated note, last night’s Team Dresch show was so stunning I’m seriously thinking about driving down to Portland to see them again tonight. Aside from their stellar set, I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many gorgeous lesbians in attendance at a rock show, like, ever.

The Team Dresch show is a great place to meet vegan lesbians and queerbois. I love rich women who dress in Carhardts and wear baseball caps and act like working class white males. Adopting the speech patterns and dress of the underclass proves that these rich white women are more politically aware than other people.

Lots of vegan lesbians and queerbois will want you to use alternative pronouns like "Z" instead of "she". If you meet a woman dressed like a straight frat boy, that's a "Z". They were oppressed until they discovered that dressing in a baseball cap and baggy pants was their "real self".

If you want they might give you a ride in their parent's old 1999 Volvo (with sunroof and black leather seats) to the next Team Desch show. You can stop at Whole Foods on the way for carrot juice, and maybe you can shoplift a $9 bag of taro chips. That's the revolution.

Don't worry though, if anything goes wrong witht the Volvo she'll just call her dad who's an Exxon executive and he'll let you use the family AAA service.

Oh. George fucking Galloway. He's a guy who does absolutely no favours for any cause he's associated with, the attention seeking nut-job.

Queer Fun, your post is eville (but v. funny)

The Team Dresch show was beyond spectacular. If I didn't have to work tonight I would be on the train to PDX tonight. Nope, no Volvo here - I don't even drive!

Queer Fun, you've got a point, but really, who cares. We came to see the band, not the audience.

And it was an incredible show, amazing intensity and power, I wish the reunion was lasting more than few shows.

I can't believe I missed this show. It was the wrong time to be on an airplane. Arrrrrr . . . . . . .

Personal Best: the most passionate album of the nineties..

Salud!
