Knifing Seizures?

Posted by on May 4 at 13:31 PM

In further knifing news, I overheard this today on the Aurora bus:
“See, my wife gets these seizures and they make her want to get a knife and slit my throat.”

COMMENT:
A seizure is an involuntary nerve firing that typically exhausts and disorients the sufferer. It doesn't incite or explain a recurring urge to slit someone's throat.

If the guy is serious and not exaggerating for effect, he is describing an emotional or mood disorder, not a seizure condition.

That's my reaction as the sibling of someone with a diagnosed seizure disorder.

Sorry about the duplicate post. Forgive me or I may have to slit your throat.
