The thing that I always think is way cool about this sort of stuff is just seeing where it could go. We can grow bladders now, apparently. Could the same technique be applied to create false, mechanical eyes that share the patient's DNA (thereby reducing the risk of something foreign being rejected).
Personally, I'm holding out for the eyes that can zoom in.
