ITMFA Merch Update

Posted by on April 3 at 13:15 PM

So, like, even though everything is under $5 (and buttons are under $2), the ITMFA merch I’m selling over at ITMFA.com has managed to break through the $7,000 barrier.

I stuffed envelopes with lapel pins and buttons all weekend and it’s literally killing me. Literally! Wanna see my aching carpal-tunnel-afflicted elbows explode? Literally explode? Then order yourself some confrontational buttons or subtle lapel pins by clicking here.

Hire an assistant, you dope.

Dan, you have a child, right? I grew up in a family business and a little thing like "Yo, I'm in grade school" was never considered a valid excuse. :)

(Then they paid for college, so it all evens out).

Dan,

Sounds as if you should hire an illegal immigrant or two to help you. Clearly this is a job that no American would want to do. Not to speak of health and safety code violations!

yeah, think of all the pricks you must be getting on the job.

and that's the first time you've ever thought of that as a bad thing

Wow! That's impressive, selling over $7000 worth of buttons and t-shirts?

I'm a good licker. Just say when. :-)

No, t-shirts. Just buttons and lapel pins.

Which is even more impressive, frankly, since they cost so little.

Geez, I would think there'd be gullible youngsters lining up outside the door to "intern" at the Strangler. Go grab a couple and give your carpals a break.

Only buttons? That is great!! Hopefully I'll get mine tomorrow. ;-)

You can make alot of money marketing revolution back to the public.

What are the politics of the company that produces your merch? Oh...Ooops, I guess that doesn't matter. As you construct and market your oppositional identity the most important thing is making your customers feel like they can keep "making a difference" by purchasing something.

The Republican Party thanks you for supporting our business community in this way, we've had trouble moving our sweatshop t-shirts and Chinese made trinkets lately. Any more t-shirt design ideas that might appeal to the hard to reach "alternative" community?

Also please keep the focus on our man Bush. Between you and I, Bush is an idiot and doesn't run much of anything really, it's those around him that matter, and we've managed to keep a lot of our people in power since the Nixon administration by keeping the focus on the President.

We're especially concerned The Stranger might snoop around the Microsoft-Halliburton connection, or worse yet go over to Mercer Island and ask Rabbi Daniel Lapin what happened between him and Jack Abramoff.

So keep up the good work with the Bush shirts and trinkets. No harm done there, and anything that keeps people buying new stuff does The Republican Party a lot of good.

As long as the public focuses on Bush and ignores the real power players right in their own backyard, we'll all be doing fine. If your readers went after Rabbi Daniel Lapin then you might really cause some problems. I'm glad you're doing the sensible thing and selling trinkets instead.

For my reasons why I'm doing this, go read the newest post at www.ITMFA.com.

The poster "Republican Party" is even stupider than the real Republican Party.

"Between you and I"--sheesh. Furrfu.

Republicans are all stupid, so their party is really dumb.

I happen to like wearing T-shirts and stuff. It's a fun way to express myself. This is a free country (some Republicans forget this) so I can wear whatever I want.

I hate George Bush so these shirts are a great way of getting back at the Republican Party. Everyone should buy one and wear it when they go out dancing.

don't you mean that your elbows will "liberally" explode!!

HAR HAR

Stop yer bitchin. I volunteered to help. :D

7k. That's a lot of friggin' buttons. Nice.
