While eastside Republican Congressman Dave Reichert is getting hammered for accepting money from the Hammer, Reichert’s Democratic challenger, Darcy Burner, just reported some rather impressive fundraising figures for the first quarter:

Burner has raised a total of over $530,000, has $355,000 cash on hand, and got more than $150,000 of that money from donations that poured in during the last ten days of the quarter (which ended March 31).

Darcy Burner Announces Over $530,000 Raised

Candidate for the 8th Congressional District raised over $320,000 in the quarter bringing her total raised to over $536,000 with over $355,000 cash on hand

Darcy Burner raised over $320,000 in the quarter bringing her total raised to over $536,000. The Burner Campaign exceeded the DCCC's expectations and met the threshold for their Red-to-Blue program.

The Burner Campaign will complete its FEC report on April 10th and will announce exact and final numbers then.

1,290 individuals havecontributed 90% of the donations.
