Ululate ≠ Vulva

Posted by on March 10 at 15:21 PM

Our art director Corianton was sharing the Dictionary.com Word of the Day: ululate (to howl, wail, or lament loudly). I hypothesized that it’s root word might be that little thing that hangs in the back of your throat. We couldn’t remember what the thing was called. Sars offered up “vulva” (it’s actually “uvula”) so Cori did a Google image search for “vulva”.

You’ve never seen a gay man leap away from his computer with such horror. His first words… “It looks like a weapon!”

Oh, it IS a weapon.

Mr. Savage used to get into a bit of trouble for saying they look like pressed ham.I could look at 'em all day long myself. If that's a weapon, I surrender.

Cori, you shoulda called me. Uvula, everybody knows that. From latin for grape. Ululate is onomatopeic.

I never thought it looked like a weapon, but it is sometimes used as one.

Pressed ham? That's mooning someone and pressing your ass up against a glass window.

I used to say that a vagina—to me—looked like a canned ham dropped from a great height. Not to be confused with a pressed ham.

I always thought the word "ululate" was onomatopoeic.

Pressed ham, canned ham. Sorry, I got mixed up. Though, you know, I'm pretty sure they have to press it a little to get it in the can.

Is it wrong to be sexually aroused by ham or other pork products?

mmmmmm

"Knock knock."

"Who's there?"

"Bab's uvula."

"Bab's uvula who?"

"I dunno that, but I do know this... Bab's uvula has gone to the dogs."

Feast your eyes (and, if you're ambitious, your nose) on this:

Wow! Is that stuff marketed to men or women? I like the smell of pussy as much as the next guy, but do you really need to hose yourself down with a synthesized approximation of it? Maybe it's a masturbation aid...
