I'm dating myself: in the mid-90s, the same age kids who are today attending zombie parties were doing a thing called "cuddle-core." They stood around in PJs, holding teddy bears, and... cuddled. And danced. And sucked on pacifiers. It was about e, and about love, and about six months later it was over.

It wasn't just the 'same-age kids." It was THE SAME kids. The promoter of that party has been throwing happy hardcore and hardcore parties since 99 or so.
