So, Cheney shoots and injures another man. The victim is hospitalized and is reported to be in good condition. Surprisingly, the man he shot was not George W. Bush.

So, Cheney shoots and injures another man. The victim is hospitalized and is reported to be in good condition. Surprisingly, the man he shot was not George W. Bush.
Seems it took 12 hours before this was reported, during which Cheney was meeting with attorneys trying to keep it quiet.
Simple hunting accident, Cheney is clumsy with guns, likeley too much beer, etc. - NRA should do some now not to do ads.
You, and the rest of the whacko media, need to get a life. What could have turned into a tragic accident is being made light of, this is simply ridiculous!
I was immediately sick to my stomach, because I misread the news as Cheney sprays house curtains instead of Cheney sprays shotgun pellets at face and body of fellow hunter.
Bad jokes aside, it sounds like the victim will be okay, or at least is well enough to warrant a hospital rating of stable. That's good news.
Had the man been seriously injured or killed, I wonder if Cheney might have had blamed it on a weapon malfunction, thereby riling the NRA, or pinned it on a convenient underling. Or maybe used it as pretense to resign from office for health reasons instead of getting impeached on other grounds.
As it is, the designated neo-witness is aleady blaming the shooting victim for sneaking into Cheney's line of fire, and the early talking point from Bush minions is to somehow blame the "wacko media" for even reporting the mishap.
I hope that the shooting victim fully recovers and gives his own account of what happened. Given that he is 78 years old and only in stable condition, and is a staunch Republican for Cheney, we may never hear his side of things.
To ZZ Top: had it been a tragic accident, had someone been killed, then I wouldn't have made light of it. But there was NO TRAGEDY. The victim is apparently doing fine. So, it's (pardon the pun) open season on humorous commentary.
If he wants to bust a cap that bad, he should just go to Iraq, instead of shooting at quails and lawyers. Neocons are a breed apart.
Maybe this is why Cheney never served in the military: he shoots his own guys.
