Is anyone going to watch tonight’s State of the Union address? I can’t stomach even a minute of smirky Gee-Dub these days. I hope someone will slog it in real time so I can get the filtered gist none the less.

I'm almost tempted. According to the news, he's actually going to admit that we're "addicted to oil," and promote a bunch of alternative energy sources. Wacky! I don't think I'll be able to stomach it, though.

Seriously, whether you hate Bush or not, are you an informed citizen when you skip watching the speech of the President of the United States in favor of your favorite spin alley blog? Huh?

No "informed" citizen becomes informed by listening to what this president says.

A thinking citizen is "informed" by watching what this president *does*.

They're two quite different things.
