Speaking of Talkshow Smackdowns

The anti-gay Rev. Ken Hutcherson will face off with gay State Rep. Ed Murray tonight on KCTS Connects. Topic: the gay civil rights bill.

While this smackdown won’t have quite the star power of the Oprah vs. James Frey match-up, it will share a common theme: assjackhammering.

I never realized Ken Hutcherson was a football player and associated with the Seahawks. What is it about football players being anti-gay civil rights? The Seattle Seahawks has more than its share of players past (Steve Largent) and present (Matt Hasselbeck) involved in anti-gay measures.
