Industrial-music pioneers Throbbing Gristle are reuniting for a new album due February on Mute Records titled Part 2. The first 4,000 copies come with a bonus DVD and a “totemic giftâ€� made out of bone, wood, copper, or rubber. If you’re in Berlin over New Year’s Eve, you may be able to catch Throbbing Gristle performing at the Volksbühne festival.

It’ll be interesting to see if TG can retain their notoriously abrasive edge—and to gawk at the spectacle that front hermaphrodite Genesis P-Orridge has become.
