Not so good. Washington’s governor Christine Gregoire ranks 39th in an approval ratings for all 50 U.S. governors.
Geez, Dan, always bringing up the negative. Here's a positive: the WaPo political blogger doesn't list Gregoire in his top then of vulnerable or open governorships. And the Gov. is proving to be what Locke only gave lip service to: She is our Education Governor.

Look at the tracking, Dan. She's moving the right direction, and favorability drops naturally (she's lost a whole point) when nothing's going on. And there's a whole lot of nothing from her office right now.
Given where she started, these are good numbers, and her performance will make or break the return to 50%+. You can't expect a miracle after the fight last year. Once the legislature's in session and then campaigns start in the fall, watch for her numbers to keep going up.
