They’re Such Attractive Children

posted by on October 29 at 17:19 PM

But you’re going to crush their dreams on November 4th—and crush them utterly, you’re going to make these children cry…

…or at least the asshole parents that put their kids up to this. I predict that all three will be registered Democrats by age 18, which will really make mom and dad cry.

I can't believe I watched that whole thing.

Who was framing the shot? Geez.

They even have a hideous green background just like McCain did. Also, I hope that one of them turns out gay.

Someone call CPS please, to get these kids removed from the home of their psychopathic parents!

Posted by Murgen | October 29, 2008 5:30 PM

Mom and dad will be grandparents before Obama's first term is over.

Posted by DOUG. | October 29, 2008 5:31 PM

You're damned straight we will.

"We won't have another ground zero/Because he's our hero?" Gross!

Posted by Paul Constant | October 29, 2008 5:38 PM

What part of them is attractive exactly?

I love how the little white kids who worship a gazillionaire call Obama a "snob" while performing a rap.

Good thing I accepted the complete insanity of the world this afternoon, or I wouldn't know what to make of this.

uhm ... is it me or are the girls starting to get the suburban goth build?

Posted by sigh | October 29, 2008 5:43 PM

Looks like we have another Colbert "Green Screen Challenge" candidate.

Posted by T-Bone | October 29, 2008 5:45 PM

uh, why did mcain-palin voters make an ad for abortion?

Posted by brandon | October 29, 2008 5:52 PM

thank you.

Posted by wisepunk | October 29, 2008 6:07 PM

Feh, screw 'em! These kids are cuter.

Posted by yucca flower | October 29, 2008 6:11 PM

Isn't illegal for SLOG to have contact with people under the age of 18?

Please...remove this video at once.

Posted by Child Protective Services | October 29, 2008 6:12 PM

So it's okay to use your kids as political props but only for Democratic candidates?

Posted by UnoriginalAndrew | October 29, 2008 6:27 PM

I was driving my girl scout troop around today and they all claimed to be voting for Obama even though they live in Sammamish (solid McCain/Rossi territory if the yard signs are any indicator). I wonder how their parents feel about that.

Posted by henry | October 29, 2008 6:28 PM

Other than supporting the wrong candidate, there's nothing wrong with this video - calling the parents assholes or psychopaths is over the top. These kids' silly song is a far cry from the little urchins calling Obama "a monkey from Tarzan" that we saw in another video linked here.

That as so awkward it gave me goosebumps

Remember: 9/11 didn't happen in New York City, it happened in Real America, which existed around 1000' above New York City for a few seconds until it crumbled into a heap that exists about 80' below New York City to this day.

Real Americans live in Real America, crawling out every so often like CHUDs.

When I was that age, I was super-politicized. Heck, I campaigned for Jesse Jackson back when he was kind of cool. I'm sure the shirt's still around somewhere...

Posted by wench | October 29, 2008 6:47 PM

Isn't that Smoosh?

Posted by Matthew | October 29, 2008 6:58 PM

whatevernevermind @7.

Posted by Papayas | October 29, 2008 7:02 PM

At least they're not Prussia Blue

Posted by gregg | October 29, 2008 7:10 PM

I had to stop it after they started singing. I couldn't handle it.

In a far less stomach churning display of youthful support, an acquaintance of mine is a teacher, and his students launched made and launched this site today:

oh please, this isn't abuse, this is just corny shit.

Posted by Bellevue Ave | October 29, 2008 7:52 PM

I can't watch... it makes feel sick and dirty. Ahhhhh!

Posted by SDizzle | October 29, 2008 7:53 PM

I feel the green screen is very apropos.

Posted by ablebacon | October 29, 2008 7:53 PM

QUICK! someone call youth and family services! that's child abuse.

Posted by isweatbutter | October 29, 2008 8:43 PM

Posted by obamatron | October 30, 2008 12:22 AM

Okay, that tears it; I'm taking the Slog out of my RSS aggregator. Unsubscribe!

Posted by Stinky | October 30, 2008 1:48 AM

Kids are dicks.

Posted by Sarah Silverman | October 30, 2008 7:29 AM

@28 - Jeezus. Words fail.

Posted by Levislade | October 30, 2008 10:23 AM

I'm totally sending this along to the Colbert Report ...

What should the challenge be called?

Posted by go, stephen!! | October 30, 2008 10:32 AM

Ouch, I only lasted 13 seconds.

Posted by Lavode | October 30, 2008 11:00 AM

This isn't any worse than the stupid parents that let their kids march around Green Lake for Obama. Leave the kids out of it.
