check out the nyt sunday mag story coming up on Obama. Tres excellent.

the writer then explains Obama is working very very hard to get the Appalachian cracker vote. Instead of mocking them like urbane America loves to do.

I've seen recently that they've taught parrots to answer questions in a way that proves they understand the meaning of the question and are sensitive to the context. Sarah Palin can't hold a candle to that.
