Letter of the Day

posted by on October 26 at 10:48 AM

Tonite I witnessed an amazing rendition of The Laramie Project by some very talented high school actors at Ingraham High School. I think that this play should be mentioned somewhere in the theatre section under upcoming events. If not, please tell everyone on the staff they should try to make it to one of the shows.

People should go because it's amazing and has talented actors? Profound!!

also because it's a good introduction to the matthew shepard story.

and yes, it is rare to find talented actors in high school productions. usually there is maybe one person who shines.

Maybe a better reason to go is to show the public's support for a high school that's allowing these students to work on a play about Matthew Shepard's death (something that a few parents can usually be counted on to complain about).
