2008 Keeping an Eye on King County

Watch out: the Bush administration’s Department of Justice will be monitoring our elections.
I’m not sure how King County got on the Justice Department’s list (right next to places such as Ohio’s famous Cuyahoga County). Perhaps it has something to do with our disputed governor’s race in 2004, and all the recriminations about King County’s role in that mess. But I’m sure the state Republican party, which has long complained that King County’s election office is inept (and worse) is mighty pleased.
Miami-Dade is not on the list?
Nah, cause that's Bush country.
