When's the Joe the Plumber porn movie due out?

Posted by Ziggity | October 16, 2008 1:15 PM

What's with the terrifying faux bad quality video???????????????

I hope history remembers John as a disgrace, and not a "hero"

Posted by Non | October 16, 2008 1:15 PM

Oh, they might stop talking about Joe soon...

Posted by seattleeco | October 16, 2008 1:17 PM

Interesting, cause both MSNBC and CNN say that Joe would pay LESS in taxes under Obama and MORE under Comrade McCain and his Socialist Republicans ...

Somebody needs to make a video game where Joe the Plumber keeps making very bad choices ...

Posted by Will in Seattle | October 16, 2008 1:20 PM

0:13: "Everbody"? Really? Is Obama's tax plan so bad that the McCain campaign can't afford to hire a proofreader?

Posted by GrammarCop | October 16, 2008 1:22 PM

Seriously...if spreading the wealth around will help our education system so "EVERBODY" can spell, I'm all for it!

Posted by Jaymes | October 16, 2008 1:26 PM

It thrills me to no end knowing that all of the money spent on these hopeless ads is just completely wasted and represents resources that will not otherwise go toward advancing any kind of right-wing agenda.

Posted by kk | October 16, 2008 1:31 PM

"Obama's not truthful on taxes"? McCain isn't truthful on ANYTHING!

Posted by d | October 16, 2008 1:34 PM

At first I felt sorry for the guy, but the more I read about him, the more he seems like a self-entitled doofus.

Working around construction day in and day out, I know this type well. Luckily, they are the exception to the rule.

Posted by Catalina Vel-DuRay | October 16, 2008 1:37 PM

This has nothing to do with anything, but I can't believe the guy is 34!! going on 44? wtf? Does plumbing cause accelerated ageing? I'm just being catty because I disagreed with everything he had to say....

Posted by flipped normal | October 16, 2008 1:44 PM

This, amazingly, is Joe "The Plumbers" Wurzelbacher's DAD:

no shit. lol.

Posted by cochise. | October 16, 2008 1:46 PM

I have to believe that even low information voters at this point just see all these tax commercials as just noise. Both sides point fingers and say the same thing - thus regardless of which one is being truthful - it's not a winning strategy for McCain.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review is the print media equivalent of Fox News. I automatically ignore anything that has their name connected to it.

Posted by Sheryl | October 16, 2008 1:50 PM

Sheryl @13, you beat me to it. You know a campaign has lost all shame when they start citing the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. (See Hillary in April.)

The batty opinions of the Tribune-Review do not reflect those of Pittsburghers. The newspaper of record in Pittsburgh is the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The Tribune-Review is to the Post-Gazette as the Washington Times is to the Washington Post.

And that, folks, is your East Coast elitist media lesson for the day.

Posted by cressona | October 16, 2008 2:02 PM

Everyone knows that Poor Old Joe The Plumber makes more than $250,000 a year, right?

That's more than EIGHT times as much as someone making $30,000 a year. I don't know anyone who makes that much. What is John McCain smoking if he thinks I'm going to give a crap about Joe's taxes. Fuck Joe - I want healthcare!

Posted by blank12357 | October 16, 2008 2:22 PM

@11, no it's not. I thought so too, but it's a mistaken identity. Wrong Robert M. Wurzelbacher.

Posted by Fnarf | October 16, 2008 2:36 PM

@14: AND the NY Post! Keep scraping, Blinky McTonguejut!

Posted by max solomon | October 16, 2008 2:50 PM

@16 you are right, my bad. But they MUST be related and share the same ideals. They share the same name!

Just like ALL Husseins, ya know.

Posted by cochise. | October 16, 2008 2:56 PM

McCain is a liar. Palin is a liar and pals around with secessionists (and is married to one). “Joe” is unlicensed and is not a plumber. He is just another crooked contractor doing shoddy, unlicensed work – he has at least two tax liens against him. Another example of McCain’s erratic behavior and poor judgment.

20 - best campaign ad of the season; I'm wiping away tears (partly because my "little" nephew is in USMC Boot Camp right now).

Extra credit -- look up how McCain voted on funding benefits for vets with brain trauma

Posted by Just Sayin | October 16, 2008 4:56 PM

"Off The Bus" is reporting that Joe the Plumber isn't even registered.

And thanks, Grammar Cop, for noting that typo and getting it up there first. Rush to publish, much, Senator?

Keep attacking the plumber...what happened last time we had windfall profit taxes? Barry Carter 2008

The real message of that ad was at 0:26
"juuust as you suspected Obama is... (everything the racists want you to think)"

Posted by ams | October 17, 2008 6:03 AM

You democrats (socialists) have got the brains god gave a screwdriver and are very mean spirited.
