Ok, but do you also notice that there are people -- some rather attractive -- in their 30s, 40s and 50s there as well?

Something that was completely absent in Denver...

As a member of the Kent Bicycle Advisory Board, I'm tempted to go and sit in an "interactive session about climate change".

On the other hand, tells me its going to be 70 and sunny on Friday, so I could also take the day off and ride my bike from East Hill to Kanaskat-Palmer state park...

Ooh! I see TWO! One in the audience on the floor and one in a suit, standing toward the back. Do I get extra credit?

Posted by Summer | September 2, 2008 7:00 PM

I spot at least 2

Posted by Amy | September 2, 2008 7:00 PM

I see two! Do I get bonus points?

Here's something that should fascinate y'all:

National Black Republican Association

Posted by John Bailo | September 2, 2008 7:04 PM

I also spotted two Asians, can you spot them?

Posted by YvesPaul | September 2, 2008 7:06 PM

I think I see Dianne Feinstein...a few times, actually.

Where's Waldo-niqua

Posted by Non | September 2, 2008 7:09 PM

I see 3. Look for the guy with the cowboy hat on. There's a black guy behind him followed by a latino, then another black guy.

Posted by apres_moi | September 2, 2008 7:12 PM

Dude's all: damn there's a lotta white guys at this Oprah taping. WTF?

Posted by banjoboy | September 2, 2008 7:17 PM

I SPOTTED THE NIGG, what do I win?!?!?!?

Don't act like this post wasn't offensive. Sheeash.

@12... okayyy... that does it. I've been planning on changing my handle to Julie in Chicago for awhile now. You've just sealed the deal.

I see dead people....

I seen 2...yay for me!!!!!!

Posted by Cindy | September 2, 2008 7:36 PM

Notice that everyone around the black guy is avoiding him. They aren't even making eye contact with him.

They are probably thinking "... I better hold my wallet and my wife close, there is a negro hoodlum in the room...if I can just get that policeman's attention."

WE're no. 1!
We're no. 1!
We'ew no. 1!

Those we oppose suck!
Those we oppose suck!
Those we oppose suck!

Yawn....................................we all know that the Democrats record of electing blacks is far better than the GOP's. We're just so damn cool. Why, look at all the black senators we have. And look at how we fight every day to get voting rights for those folks in Washington DC. Oh well, actually we don't, we'd rather pronounce ourselves superior than actually ensure equality in voting rights across the USA. Nevermind. Let's go back to how many black senators we have. It's many? LEt's see we have about 50 senators and by population blacks are 15% so that means we must have about 7 or 8 black senators in the Democratic Party. I'm sure we must have that many.

And meanwhile look at the GOP. They sure suck don't they? Why they've never had any black candidates for governor or senator or congress. Um, except back in the 70's when they had all of them and the Democrats were the racists. But never mind!

Let's go to gender. We've had a woman VP candidate and the GOP hasn't ever had one.

Boy they sure suck. We're so great! We're so great! We're so great!

I have a better contest. Spot the straight guy...and when I say straight, I don't mean Larry Craig straight, I mean actually enjoys fucking women straight.

Posted by yucca flower | September 2, 2008 7:49 PM

The two in the back are security guards.

Posted by three | September 2, 2008 7:58 PM

Hey PC:

There are currently 36 Black Democratic Congressmen: John Conyers, Charles B. Rangel, Ed Towns, Donald M. Payne, William J. Jefferson, Maxine Waters, Lucien E. Blackwell, Eva M. Clayton, Sanford Bishop,
Corrine Brown, Jim Clyburn, Alcee Hastings, Eddie Bernice Johnson, Bobby Rush, Robert C. Scott, Mel Watt, Bennie Thompson, Chaka Fattah, Sheila Jackson-Lee, Jesse Jackson, Jr., Elijah Cummings, William Lacy Clay, Jr.,Diane Watson, Artur Davis, Kendrick Meek, David Scott, G. K. Butterfield, Emanuel Cleaver,
Al Green, Gwen Moore, Yvette D. Clarke, Keith Ellison, Hank Johnson, Laura Richardson, André Carson & Donna Edwards.

There is NOT ONE Black Republican.

You think someone is making this stuff up? What a dumb ass you are.

Posted by Gurldoggie | September 2, 2008 8:02 PM

I met a black man once...he was very nice and carried my suitcases to my room. I can proudly say I helped him and his family get ahead, I gave a dollar!

Posted by John Balio | September 2, 2008 8:04 PM

Is that the late Tito Puente in the bottom left corner?

Posted by elswinger | September 2, 2008 8:11 PM

"Let's go to gender. We've had a woman VP candidate and the GOP hasn't ever had one."

Normally I don't feed the PC . . . but . . . did you, giving your best Colbert impersonation, just suggest that you support Palin being picked as a VP? You do know that was done specifically to pander to people like you, right? If Hillary knew you said that, she'd probably bicycle kick you in the face.

Posted by Zelbinian | September 2, 2008 8:22 PM

Julie, really. There is no room on The Slog for that kind of discourse.

Fucking cunt.

Posted by Mike in MO | September 2, 2008 8:26 PM

I see a multitude of inane posts by some knuckle-dragging bore who thinks he's being so wild and wacky posting on Slog. Yeah, he's winning hearts and minds here. Awesome...

Posted by Madashell | September 2, 2008 9:11 PM

Yawn. Assholes. The lot of you!

Posted by I'm black | September 2, 2008 10:14 PM

That's really unfair of you @19 - I mean, c'mon, LOOK at those women!

Posted by COMTE | September 2, 2008 10:54 PM

The people you identified by particular races are just that now. They are those races and they have not complied to the set of standards we feel people of those skin tones should apply to. They are not people with complex decision making and many different experiences that guide them.

Regardless of how misdirected Republicans are, it is a horrible thing to question people based on their color and assume racial backgrounds.

I'm waiting for the replies that this is stupid PC bullshit and I reply that such an uncritical response is typical Seattle bullshit.

"Well, you just judged a whole people by a region."

Oh c'mon you know that's different.

Posted by Well... | September 3, 2008 7:19 AM

The blacks are easy to spot. They stand out like a dirty thumb. Here's the trick. Do you see the Asian? He blends into the white background a little better.

Posted by Colin | September 3, 2008 9:27 AM

OoOo... I spot 3! However, I have the sinking feeling that at least one or two of them were there as hired security.
