Winning the War on Drugs

posted by on June 12 at 13:28 PM

In the name of marijuana possession.

A drug bust at a Kansas City home on Wednesday ended with a dog being shot to death. Officers said they found marijuana in the home at 58th Street and Highland Avenue. Police said a dog approached an officer and was acting violent, so the officer shot it.

In the name of unsubstantiated rumors.

Police say a Fort Lauderdale-area officer helping conduct a drug raid shot and killed a man who confronted him. Pembroke Pines police did not release the dead man’s identity. He was described as in his 40s. A police special response team went to the house after neighbors complained about drug activity there.

Boo Hoo,

Don't break the law, and you won't have this shit happen to you.

Oh, and why do you have such love for drug dealers? Do you like have drug houses in your neighborhood? Does it add to the appeal and safety that you and your kids gt to experience?

Drug dealers are such NICE guys...

The dog approached the officer and was acting violent, so he shot it? In a drug bust where they found marijuana? 48 words is all they have on this?

- What led to the drug bust?
- What is "approached"? Walk up, run up, jump up to maul?
- What is "acting" violent? Barking? Barking loudly?
- How much marijuana did they find? A ton? A pound? A quarter? Half of an eighth in a little crappy ziplock?

And, did the officer try to reason with the dog? Or if I "approach" an officer and "act violent" am I going to be shot?

Well, all we need to know--I guess--is that drugs were found and the officer wasn't harmed. Good to know.

you like it when cops are hurt?

Posted by ecce homo | June 12, 2008 2:37 PM

He wasn't hurt, you moron. The article doesn't give us any important details other than there was a drug bust, there was a cop, there was a dog (somewhere), the dog "approached" the officer, the dog was "acting violently", the cop shot the dog, the cop found marijuana.

I haven't made any note of personal amusement or enjoyment of officers being hurt. But you know that. My comment clearly points out that the information provided is conveniently minimal.

I have to go now. Please feel free to continue your idiocy and drop a dumbfuck rebuttal. I'm sure someone will enjoy it.

Well Po,

Your childish snarkyness speaks for itself.

Why do you get your shit together some day and spend a little time as a cop, maybe then you would understand why these things happen.

Ahh, but it is SO much easier to snipe from the sidelines like a pathetic little rail bird you are. It makes you look cool to all the other twenty something douschebags on SLOG. But you know what you mean, I know what you mean. You think drugs are good, cops are bad, and they deserve to be injured.

You are pathetic.
