what does it say about me that my first reaction to this was a giggle? clay is funny.
Is that somehow animatronic? Please, please, please tell me it is! If those gears are meant to be, ugh, allegorical, just lie to me and say they aren't.

I went and saw these last night and they are really great. They all move when you turn a little handle on the side, and the movement is actually pretty sophisticated and fucked up. Plus they're quite a bit larger than you'd guess from the photo - I'd say the figures are about 14 inches tall. Anyway, check it out if you can.
