Still a Dick

posted by on March 11 at 9:10 AM

Tucker Carlson in the NYT this morning:

In a telephone interview Mr. Carlson said his conservative point of view was “out of sync” with the more liberal bent of MSNBC’s other marquee shows, including “Countdown With Keith Olbermann” and “Hardball” with Chris Matthews.

“I don’t think I was a perfect fit in the lineup,” he said. “I think that was obvious to anyone who was tuning in.”

Still, he said, “It’s not my nature to cry bias.”

It’s not in my nature to point out that Tucker did, in fact, cry bias. As for Tucker’s replacement—David Gregory—here’s his biggest claim to fame…

absent olberman, MSNBC has a CONSERVATIVE bias.

matthews debases america every time he opens his mouth.

bill clinton should go on his show & punch him in his big fat face.

David Gregory asked more tough questions of the administration than any other major media person.

Chris is awful.

The idea that Matthews is even close to being a liberal is hilarious.

And to second McG, David Gregory may be an awkward and embarrassing dancer, but he does have a reputation for being a tough questioner at White House Q&A sessions.

The neo-cons hate David Gregory. For a while, there was a website calling on NBC to fire him.

So how soon will Carlson start at Faux News?

He is still a dick.

And, like most "conservative" neocons, he better get used to being sent off into the wilderness for forty years, because this is their fate.

Buh bye!

I love David Gregory. May even watch him on the teevee.

There may be others, but he and Helen Thomas are the only ones I can think of that ask hard questions at the White House 'briefings'.

Wish there was a possibility that Hardball would be replaced, too...

Pat Buchanan is on MSNBC and he's way more conservative than Tucker. I didn't mind Tucker that much... sure, he's an obnoxious twat, but he's rarely boring.

Actually, I thought David Gregory was more known for his Today Show dance moves:
