Have you seen this? Larry Craig’s recipe submitted to “Congress Cooks!” is a hot dog jammed into a cored-out potato and baked. Yes, really.
It’s on Wonkette, too. Here’s a picture of the tasty food item.
Oh man.
Now that's funny.
"loosely cover to avoid splatters"
Henceforth you shall hear me saying, "Now THAT ass is fork-tender."
i like mustard, do you like mustard? may i rub some on you?
Oh jesus h. fucking-christ! That needs absolutely no comment. None whatsoever. I don't want to see any more comments posted, that shit stands on it own!
Also, I propose re-christening our dear Mr. Craig as "Spud Muffin."
It's funny. But it's not especially gay. It's phallic, but phallic isn't only gay.
Patty Murray's recipe is a HOLIDAY APPLE PIE. Ooh, that just makes me want to go out and buy a GOD BLESS AMERICA beer hat. The secularist wench!
I don't know where he gets off (heh heh) calling them a super tuber. That's a goddamned Tater Pig. And we recently held a Tater Pig cook-off, which I will now pretend was in honor of my former senator.
@7 Yeah, phallic isn't gay...until it goes in your mouth.
remember to first tap the pota-toe.
No fucking way... it's too... it's just to good.
Uhh...
Wow.
Saw that, but is it Craig? Or just some joker who posted it in a blog comment thread under Craig's name.
A little TOO good to be true.
On further review, looks like it IS true! had seen it repeated on other blogs, but the original Cooking With Congress seems legit.
See also Sen. McConnell's "Chocolate Nut Pie", and Sen. Shelby's "Dove's on the Grill".
It's at http://web.archive.org/web/*/craig.senate.gov/kidsclub/board.htm too, although it's been removed from the current version of that page.
I just want to thank the Christopher for not mentioning the name of the recipe in the OP. Being able to click on the link, going to the page. and seeing for the first time, big as life, "Super Tuber".... well, let's just say it made this week's alcohol purchase *completely* worthwhile in one glorious second.
blaire!!
Are Latvians worthy of human rights, or just sodomites and pedophiles?
David Schmader has his opinion.
Now, what's yours, Mr. Liberal?
