Crystal-Freaking, Bug-Chasing, Black Irish….WHAT? A Study in True “Self Hatred”

posted by on July 13 at 11:45 AM

The very best policy? Never feed the trolls. I know. I invented it. But forgive me, if you please, just this once…I have an itch to scratch.

Below you will find choice commentary gleaned from the comments thread following my earlier racist, racist post entitled Alabama Go Bragh! Frankly, I think pieces of the thread bare repeating, for many reasons, typos and all. Not that I’m one to talk about typos, of course. (Shut up.) We begin with comment #12, which goes a little something like this…

This is definately (sic) one of the most racist posts to ever blemish the pages of SLOG. You guys really are fucking bigots. Posted by ecce homo | July 12, 2007 10:45 AM

Indeed. I couldn’t agree more. However, we here racists over at The Stranger (of which I personally officiate as Grand Wizard) found a defender in “Matt”, who came to our rescue in comment #14

@12 Give it up asshole. Are you jealous that you don’t work for the stranger? Don’t you have other blogs to troll, or is the wait at the drive through you work at too long to navigate away from this page? Posted by matt | July 12, 2007 11:44 AM

My hero! (Now why didn’t I think to say something like that? )

Now, one might imagine that with that, that would be that. But one would be oh-so tragically wrong. (That, that.) “ecce homo” was just warming up, and soon rebutted thusly

Matt: Racism isn’t funny, pointing at black people and laughing at their expense is racist and fucked up. Get a clue. Posted by ecce homo | July 12, 2007 12:25 PM

Of course he’s completely right. I couldn’t agree more. (“I jus’ wanna know where da’ gold!” BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Coloreds! They so silly! Point, point, point!) This post was immediately followed by the following wise, wise comment by wise “Original Andrew”, who wisely commented thusly

ecce homo @ 16, Isn’t the real problem that you’re a racist? Posted by Original Andrew | July 12, 2007 1:40 PM

Now, at this point it’s clear that all of the above commenting was just the prelude…the buildup. The real fireworks went off when often-commenter and valliant Adrian-defender “Mr. Poe” chimed in…

Ecce is a self-hating fag with absolutely no sense of humor or intelligence to process that this post isn’t racist. He has successfully developed a nasty purple yeast infection in his vagina that is his face. He is a victim. Ignore him… Posted by Mr. Poe | July 12, 2007 2:01 PM

Well, that did it. And now we are forced to meet the meat of the matter, and our friend “ecce” protests, perhaps a bit too much (thanks for hanging in there)…

Mr. Poe, If your definition of self-hating is that I don’t subject myself to truly self hating (sic) “Seattle Homo Culture” then count me in. I live a normal life and queers like you give us all a reputation that a majority of us have to CONSTANTLY deal with. Believe it or not, but a majority of gay men don’t walk around sloberring (sic) over there own genitals, playing grab ass anytime they can, hating “straight society” because they wont embrace a deviant and promiscuous (sic) life (not being gay, but rather the disgusting life that some of the Seattle gay community - and the stranger - embraces) and snorting pounds of crystal meth. Yes then I am self hating because I am in a loving and commited relatioship (sic, sic) with my partner of 16 years, the proud parent of 2 children, work a full time job, and aspire to be what many on SLOG and in the Seattle gay community will never be - an upstanding member of society. I hear that you got a ticket for lude (sic) conduct up at volunteer park. (sic) Had your court date yet, Bug Chaser (sic, sic, SICK!)? Posted by ecce homo | July 12, 2007 2:16 PM

A “normal life”? Slobbering all over our own genitals? Snorting pounds of meth?

Well. Here’s what I wanna know: Does Seattle’s self-hating-bug-chasing-crystal-freaking “homo culture” have anything to say about that? Hmm?

Ecce then moved on to mock starving African children in Mudede's pregnancy piece.

How charming.

Ecce is not gay. He doesn't have kids. He also, and this I'm sure of, does not have a job. He obviously has some political issues, and he brings them exclusively to slog.

Posted by Mr. Poe | July 13, 2007 12:10 PM

I get no mention in there. A pox upon you!

Posted by Bellevue Ave | July 13, 2007 12:13 PM

Actually, never mind. I can't believe I'm walking away from my constant, uh, as Christopher put it, 'flip' attitude for this Ecce bitch-ass. I do not wish to know or understand him. I will refuse to feed the troll.

That is, unless he attacks Adrian! again! Mothafucka!

Ummm what does "bug-chasing" mean? I should ask Raul the online librarian.

Posted by Katelyn | July 13, 2007 12:27 PM

now, now. ladies. it wasn't entirely my intention for everyone to just heap ire on ecce. (it's a delightful side effect, however.) it was sort of my intention maybe to begin a dialogue---to explore the true nature of, uh, self-hatred amongst the gays, so, um, we may maybe recognize it when it rears its horrible head or something. oh hell, fuck it. get him.

Because only those in long-term relationships with children are upstanding citizens? Isn't that what the GOP says when they aren't paying $20 to suck cock or paying $300 to wear diapers?

Posted by monkey | July 13, 2007 12:32 PM

Katelyn, do you know any bug-chasing homos? I don't. It must say something about ecce's social circle. Unfortunate guy, really.

I got mentioned by poe! Word. Yo, Adrian! Eat a pound of crystal meth one time for me. You're my favoritest Gayman, and I say that with no flip intended. Much love.

Please wait a moment while I transfer you to another librarian.

Posted by Raul | July 13, 2007 12:38 PM

Laugh it up dirt bags. There is nothing funny about it. Lauding the virtue of Glory holes, anonymous sex, and crystal meth is most definately embracing self-destructive behavior.

Is it any wonder that we have such a high rate of suicide among gay people both young and old?

To all the deviants who think that not loving meth, gang bangs and bathroom sex means your a member of the GOP: Grow the fuck up. Eventually, you will either get a job, participate in society and turn your backs on this crap, or chances are you will die lonely with your life meaning nothing. That is unless you count self-destruction and admirable goal.

And yes, bug chasers are real and are out there. Sorry to burst your bubbles.

Posted by ecce homo | July 13, 2007 12:40 PM

It warms my cold, cold heart to see that everyone else thinks ecce is an insufferable douche bag. Fuck you eh.

Posted by just glad | July 13, 2007 12:40 PM

He's just a miserable old bitch because no one will fuck him. Last week he tried to bust in on our group bareback clusterfuck in the Arboretum, which we started by slamming some gorgeous, pure glass, and we turned him away. He stormed off with his panties in a bunch and has been in a foul mood ever since.

BTW, snorting crystal is for light-weights. IMO a truly cream of the crop self-hating homo would always smoke or slam.

Posted by viralmsm | July 13, 2007 12:41 PM

is it worth pointing out the fact that what e.h. did in his post [checking off the entire list of negative gay stereotypes as though they were all true] is the definition of INTERNALIZED HOMOPHOBIA? or is it too obvious?

Posted by brandon | July 13, 2007 12:43 PM

Hell, I see all of those negative sterotypes in the Stranger and SLOG all the freaking time.

Less we forget the video post a couple of weeks ago following the two doods around shopping for womens clothes whilest tweaking...DURING PRIDE WEEK!!!

Yeah, and Im the freaking problem.

Grow up ladies, the world is watching. And chances are as long as you act like freaks, society at large will continue to reject ALL of us.

Fighting online is like racing in the special olympics; even if you win, you're still retarded!

Posted by Carollani | July 13, 2007 12:51 PM

Why did some of you transplants ever even move to Seattle? Was it because you couldn't be open and yourself in the little shitholes you come from? I would bet on it.

You talk about internalized homophobia, yet many of you young transplants exhibit ALL of the negative stereotypes that were thrust upon YOU in your hometowns. You bring that shit here and assume because there is more of your disturbed compatriots in a big city, that your behavior is normal? You guys really have some freaking problems.

Be proud of who you are, don't debase yourself because someone told you once that gay men all lack self control, decency, morality and an ability to contribute positively to society AND the gay community. You just have to get beyond your own deep seeded self hatred.

Posted by ecce homo | July 13, 2007 12:52 PM

I don't comment here very often, but I have taken note of ecce homo's seemingly fouler mood than usual in the past few days.

What I really (seriously) want to know is, why does ecce homo post here? Why does he read Slog if he thinks all commentors and Stranger editors/reporters are dirtbags, job-less, self-destructive, non-participative in society, etc, etc, etc.

So, ah, I'm curious, e.h., why do you read Slog? More importantly, though, why do you comment so frequently? And why are so many of your comments verbal attacks rather than contributing to any kind of meaningful discussion?

Posted by Julie | July 13, 2007 12:53 PM

Posted by Mr. Poe | July 13, 2007 12:54 PM

Hey, not all of us self-loathing fags do the pound of meth. Some of us just like to toke the wacky tobaccy! And, isn't this perpetual hatred towards the gay community really come from the fact that deep down, we secretly hate everybody. I mean I know I do.

Posted by Justard | July 13, 2007 12:55 PM

carollani, is it really necessary to demean people with disabilities to make a funny?

Posted by r | July 13, 2007 12:59 PM

That is a matter of personal perspective. I take it quite seriously when people who supposedly speak for the gay community - either intentionally or un-intentionally make my life, the life of my husband and the life of our children that much harder in the eyes of the rest of the world.

I guess I don't seperate myself from society because I am gay, Just like I don't separate myself from society because I like piano music or minimalist art. Its just another part of who I am. It is an important part of who I am, but it isn't the only thing I am.

I post here to demonstrate that there are those of us gay men that resent the name that many of SLOG posters, and sometimes the Stranger itself, give gay men.

Posted by ecce homo | July 13, 2007 12:59 PM

Maybe ecce homo is really A. Birch Steen?

That would explain alot.

Posted by J | July 13, 2007 1:05 PM

@ 24 You're not the only person to advocate or wish for the policing of behavior within a marginalized group in order to achieve assimilation into the larger dominating society. It never works. In fact it just makes everyone hate you. You shouldn't want to prevent drug use and unsafe sex practices in your community in order to gain better access to your oppressors. You should want those things because they help members of your community

Posted by christopher | July 13, 2007 1:12 PM

Lyn, I aggree with you in thought.

However, I have spent entirely too many years dealing with the effects of stereotypes, propped up by the latest crowd of gay hipsters, in my own personal life and the life of my family. I have gotton to a point of not caring so much about them and rather choose to spend my love on my children, my husband and my friends.

Eventually these guys die off and the only contribution to the world they have is that of making other gay men's lives miserable.

Posted by ecce homo | July 13, 2007 1:13 PM

ecce homo -

What you seem to be incapable of realizing is that not all gays [besides you and possibly your husband, of course] embody the stereotypes you hold. You're a lot like Sean Hannity in that regard.

The hostile manner in which you hurl these stereotypes at your fellow homos suggests you're still holding onto some baggage of your own. A skeleton or two in your - uh - closet, perhaps?

Posted by brandon | July 13, 2007 1:16 PM

@45 Of course not all gays.

But the Stranger, and it's editor in cheif, definately has and does.

Posted by ecce homo | July 13, 2007 1:19 PM

Posted by frederick r | July 13, 2007 1:21 PM

this conversation doesn't even make any sense. Nobody but nobody speaks for all gay people, and not all gay people hate themselves, hang out in bathhouses, or use meth. Do all straight people get drunk at Mardi Gras? Enough, already!

Obviously no one watched the video @6. :-)

Posted by duncan | July 13, 2007 1:21 PM

People, people, don't you know what a troll is and why you can't psychoanalyze it or speculate over its IRL motivation? Ecce's posts just have to be some sort of experiment in how many responses it can get despite being the most utter failure of a troll of all time -- I mean, no semblance of internal consistency from thread to thread, no pretense of any relevance to the topic of the post, at most just an interchangeable collection of opaque paranoias. The guy who posted Dan Savage's "Say Yes to the War in Iraq" in every thread for a week was more interesting.

Posted by David | July 13, 2007 1:25 PM

From reading EH's ridiculous statements and one note arguments, it can pretty much be surmised that he works in The Stranger offices. Or not. Maybe he works down in PDX for The Mercury. I'd guess that he's actually Wm. Steven Humphrey... But that's just my guess.

Does the SLOG have IP logging? Wouldn't be too terribly difficult to track this guy down.

And what else? Did anyone stop to think about his asinine martyr-esque choice of a screen name? He is a rather intelligent troll.

Posted by Geebee | July 13, 2007 1:28 PM

@EC: Dude, you just have to come to Seattle, or more specifically Capitol Hill, to understand the Stranger. We are at some type of epi-center where sarcastic humor, joking about everything taboo, and generally being a cynical ass is the way to be. Its just how people are.

If you heard what my friends joke about on a daily basis, your head would probably explode.

I understand you are worried that the Stranger is promoting bad stereotypes, but what you don't know is that the Stranger has helped many straight people not only accept gays, but openly fight for their rights (including l/t/b/other). I use Slog posts and Stranger articles all the time when talking to bigots. I have been reading the Stranger since I was 14, living in the suburbs. I can tell you that it helped open the eyes of kids there, trapped with what their bigot parents were telling them.

The Stranger is like the bible in Seattle. We mostly eschew religion, so we are brought together by this publication. Whether we always agree with the writers or not, The Stranger is widly known, read, and loved.

I think that you are just not in on the joke. You don't get the humor or subtly from these writers. I wish you could come here to Seattle with your boyfriend and kids and see for yourself. I think you would not hate so much on this blog if you did.

ps. I! HEART! ADRIAN! and his sunglasses.

Posted by Original Monique | July 13, 2007 1:28 PM

Posted by Bellevue Ave | July 13, 2007 1:36 PM

E.H., a quick scan of the Slog topics you've responded so angrily to recent shows that most of them have nothing whatsoever to do with homosexuality. Or people propgating homosexual stereotypes. The "Black Irish" post, the "medicinal marijuana" post, etc. So, what gives? Your hatred of "stereotypical gays" can't be the only thing that makes you spend what surely must be a ridiculous amount of time reading and commenting here. Do you just hate Dan Savage? Is that it?

This comment assumes that you're not just an unemployed troll with lots of time to waste, as 49 suggest.

Posted by Julie | July 13, 2007 1:38 PM

I don't live in Seattle, but I find this all very amusing.

#27 - ecce homo is so chock full of self hatred it makes my throat swell.. i don't know why my throat swells at this just does. we'd like to ignore him but he shouts and gargles so and so we endure him.. it stings me so much because i suspect he may very well be family..
i have a grandmother, now in her 90's, very productive member of society. she raised a whole mess of healthy babies, grandbabies, and great grandbabies, church lady to the end inspirational for many people on many levels. but she is also the most self hating person i've ever met, almost proudly so. the source of her self hatred was race. she told us growing up black the same kind of things ecce homo does the gays.that black people could never get ahead because we just didn't know how to behave. we don't know how to fit in. our values are wrong. we were too loud, too rambunctious. we complained ttoo much. we were never grateful for all the things white folks did for us and what white folks gave us. for her being black was a inescapbable curse.. it said so in the bible. and the best you could hope for was to be black as little as possible. for her that meant straightening your hair, not complaining ever and taking whatever lot white folks 'gave' you because we were lucky that white folks would give us anything. as children we couldn't drink coffee because coffee mkes you black,. we couldn't giggle because giggling made you black ( that's the root of the curse that god put on black people at the beginning. noah's son laughs at his drunk father and noah curses him by turning him black FOREVER)when malcolm x died she fifured he had it long time coming.dr king was wrong because he riled up white people and you never wnat to rile up white folks or question their values. she hated being called black because her skin wasn't black. and she hates being called african because she ain't african - having nerever been to africa. and after 90 years of watching and enjoying the progress that blacks have made, she now thinks we've gone too far. after moving to atlanta she confided to me that she doesn't get why black folks in that city have to control everything. she tires of seeing black faces everywhere. she tires of hearing black voices.
she is a wonderful woman mind you and i'm grateful for all the love and strength she has given me but i also grieve beyond measure at the crippling depth of her self hatred and her inability to see it as that.
reading ecce homo's recent posts and enduring his unending vitriol reminds me that our big gay tent is very large . it includes gangbanging, genital slobbering, glory hole fucking, elephantine snorting crystal queens AND hugely self loathing fags who really would rather be straight in their heart of hearts . no one would deny that the activities of the former can be occasionally questionable and destructive, but generally singular and self destructive. ecce homo's bile not so secretly eats at him, he wishes it to eat at the rest of us. that he says he has a partner and two children completely baffles me . then i think of my grandmother and remember how far reaching this brand of loathing can be. there is absolutely nothing any of us can do or say to convince him otherwise. i told him a few posts ago that his loathing is his raison d'etre and for once he didn't take exception.
but i sure wish he was here less..
oh.. and his joan didion post a few slogs ago hit a new low.

Posted by reverend dr dj riz | July 13, 2007 1:47 PM

Ecce is using the same tactics that Cair does for Muslim extremists, and batshit crazy Christians do: claiming bigotry where none exists. He knows that it's an allegation that really gets under the skin of people on the left.

Posted by ecce homo | July 13, 2007 1:49 PM

I live on Capitol Hill. Once I got over how most of my male neighbors are more feminine than I'll ever be, I decided to relax and ENJOY my neighborhood and its wacky culture -- in sickness and in health. After all, we eat in the same restaurants, go to the same bars, buy stamps at the same post office, and dodge the same LaRouchies. Damned if I don't participate in my community and enjoy it to the fullest, learning what I can about the good life from those who live differently than I do. This is a strategy I strongly recommend, EH.

Posted by Joey the Girl | July 13, 2007 1:54 PM

The SLOG could take responsibility for the forum they create and moderate comments or provide a mechanism for community moderation.

When the internet default is bullying and nastiness, doing nothing to moderate comments is irresponsible at best. Neglecting your comments section is shirking a good portion of the work of having a large blog. Trolls are not "the cost of doing business" and permitting them on a space with your name is tacitly endorsing their tactics, if not the content of their speech.

Other commenters can do a lot to enforce the norms they want to share on the SLOG, but only the SLOG has the ability and the responsibility to enforce some standard for their comments section.

Wow! Is that racism I'm reading?! From E**e?! Crazy!

Posted by Mr. Poe | July 13, 2007 1:56 PM

I was on the sidelines, but since Ecce H. decided to join in on the roast, then, well, I couldn’t help it any longer. I went to look up the pen name to see what the Latin really meant (I figured it must mean something, being Latin and all) and what did I find?

The phrase depicts “Jesus wearing the crown of thorns", which when explained from a secular point, is an artistic image used to show the selfless suffering of one person for the sake of the many. So to psychoanalyze this whole thing, Slog’s Ecce H. is suffering at the hands of gays. Suffering because of gay folks who are out to have something they think of as fun while they are young, free, and single. People who even though Ecce H. doesn’t agree with it, are, you know, acting like most folks, straight or gay, before they settle down to a career, family, and a mortgage.

Anyone now want to cheer him on? He is only doing this because he is suffering for everyone’s gay actions, don’t you know, not because of his gay actions. Or maybe in spite of his gay actions, I can’t really yet tell if he was genuine about being a self-hating gay. But, he does seem to think that he and his husband’s actions are how everyone who is gay should act. Act that way, I guess, then all the straight haters in the world will be like “wow, you gay folks, you all aren’t that bad. How about joining my van pool?”.

I’m now getting a “Messiah of the Gays” vibe from this guy. Sort of saying “Follow me and I’ll set you free. Get a job. Get a family. Stay home at night, watch TV, get well rested for a big day at work. Be gay, but be a gay ‘I, Ecce H.’ can be proud of”.

Too bad for Ecce H. that the likes of even mainstream haters such as Ken Hutcherson ain’t gone be loven’ him anymore or less because he is a monogamous, family-orientated-values, qualified for a mortgage kind of a gay.

after geting burned in the Moral Masochism post comments i am pretty surprised that ecce home is still posting under the same name. seriously, go read it everyone... he makes a HUGE ass of himself.

How is that racist? The good rev. dj love big bootie claims to be a hip hopping wonderkid.

Just pointing out some of his more familiar accessories...

Posted by konstantConsumer | July 13, 2007 2:06 PM

Your story is as pointless as your "Music".

Lets not turn this into what it shouldn't be: A treatise on why hip hop isn't a culture and definately sucks.

This is about exposing self hatred in Seattles gay community, not your own self absorbed stupid stories.

Posted by reverend dr dj riz | July 13, 2007 2:11 PM

Come on people!

This is becoming absurd. I do commend EH on his masterful inability to directly address anything anyone actually says. He's like a judo master of trolling your comments. He has no substance.

I still stand by the idea that he's Stephen Humphreys. Hence his hatred for Dan Savage and The Stranger.

I challenge the The Stranger to publish some IP logs and see if EH isn't in fact posting from PDX.

Posted by Geebee | July 13, 2007 2:13 PM

If you mean learn why hip hop sounds like a shoes stuck in a dryer, then I'll pass. I already know that.

Posted by ecce homo | July 13, 2007 2:18 PM

"How is that racist? The good rev. dj love big bootie claims to be a hip hopping wonderkid.

You obviously get all your information about hiphop and black people from fucking MTV and the Kube.

Posted by lyn | July 13, 2007 2:20 PM

@30: I guess I don't seperate myself from society because I am gay ... I post here to demonstrate that there are those of us gay men that resent the name that many of SLOG posters, and sometimes the Stranger itself, give gay men.

you don't separate yourself from society because you are gay, but you post here so that society will see that a separate group you belong to isn't just a stereotype?

other than the possible contradiction, you should focus your energy on getting society not to judge in the same way you really seem to enjoy doing.

and be nicer. i don't always disagree with what you say but the way you say it. you could make donating blood sound like a bad idea.

Posted by infrequent | July 13, 2007 2:20 PM

To all the deviants who think that not loving meth, gang bangs and bathroom sex means your a member of the GOP

See ecce, this is exactly your problem. Because we "deviants" actually believe that loving meth, gang bangs and bathroom sex means you're a member of the GOP. As demonstrated by certain GOP politicians in the news of late. Oh, and you left out the diapering!

Posted by Tlazolteotl | July 13, 2007 2:24 PM

Though I would love to stay and watch the sparks fly, it's campin' time! I'm strapped for time, I have to rendezvous with my friends. Unfortunately, I have no meth and I'm virtually STD free. So needless to say, I'm going to be busy in downtown Seattle with my penis, wallet, and nose for the next hour.

Posted by Mr. Poe | July 13, 2007 2:38 PM

Posted by adrian! | July 13, 2007 3:19 PM

NOW THAT THINGS HAVE CALMED...hey! ecce! let me lay some reality on you. i have never snorted meth---not once. never. i have never even smoked a cigarette. and the last time i had sex in a bathroom, it was with your dad.

Posted by adrian! | July 13, 2007 3:28 PM

Man, this really is pathetic. On BOTH sides. I'm amazed that I can stand living in a place where so many asshole hipsters actually try to out-holier-than-thou each other on a regular basis.

Posted by bma | July 13, 2007 3:33 PM

This discussion of self-hatred was fun AND educational, Adrian!

Nope, I suck just as bad. But what the fuck do smarmy comments about a troll accomplish? He's an asshole for saying things like "queers like you give us all a reputation that a majority of us have to CONSTANTLY deal with," but if you could explain to me how, "oh hell, fuck it. get him." is a great response to his crazy rantings, I'm all ears. Seems like more of a pathetic game of who's-cooler-than-whom than anything else.

Posted by bma | July 13, 2007 3:53 PM

You know, I'm one of those 'normal' gays you claim to be... got the partner of many years, own a home in the suburbs, have dogs (no desire for kids, but deal with it, ecce). Totally upstanding, non bar-going-drug-using-orgy-attending boring gay. Yup. That's me.

So, I feel that I have the right to say this:

YOU are an embarrassing douchebag. You are filled with a pathological amount of hatred. You do NOT speak for me, or for 'normal' gays. You have your own agenda. And I can't for the life of me fathom why it is you feel it necessary to foist that agenda on others in the community. Other than the fact that by your very handle ("ecce homo"), you clearly exhibit a martyr complex (wikipedia it, kids).

I hate feeding the trolls. I don't find it entertaining or good sport. It's just annoying. But seriously, ecce, what the hell is your problem? Not your problem with other people's actions, but YOUR problem? Your actions are not those of an 'activist' of any kind. They are the actions of a selfish, self-indulgent egotist.

If you're so offended by the actions of others in the gay community, why don't you try living your own life by a higher standard and leading by example? Rather than acting like the bitchy queens you so despise.

Get over your hate. Until you do, no one will take you seriously. You'll just be sport for others.

Posted by scottjon | July 13, 2007 3:54 PM

DJ Riz is too modest to explicitly state that he is a champion of ALL music, not just hip hop. When he used to work at Orpheum Records on Broadway, he turned me on to lots of stuff. It was through his recommendation that I first heard Kronos Quartet.

Once again, the person with the closed mind in this thread is . . .

Posted by Will in 98103 | July 13, 2007 4:21 PM

I'd bet you're feeling pretty good with your ego all pumped up from the attention today. I'm sure you relish it, but keep in mind that anyone can easily prove that they're a douchebag asshole.

Posted by echo hambone | July 13, 2007 4:33 PM

ecce homo is such a troll-for-life that I have to wonder if he's a practical joke on the part of Slog.

Posted by Gomez | July 13, 2007 4:34 PM

I've actually heard complaints about Dan being too hard on other homos. He has his long-term partner and a kid and he (allegedly) looks down on those meth-snorting bugchasers. So, I really have no fucking clue what EH is talking about.

But he's definitely the bastard lovechild of Proud Gay Republican and You Gotta Be Kidding Me.

Posted by keshmeshi | July 13, 2007 5:02 PM

It's been bugging me since @42, a head of the hydra was missing. Didn’t see the connect, but that's it. The Messiah of the Gay complex... sure, those other two pen names… the self-depreciating social conservative. On a mission from God most likely. He doesn’t recognize his own inherent sexism and racism… Hard headed. Most likely just wants a nice clean society, deviants back in the shadows , not lauded and granted dreams. Has wet dreams over Eisenhower’s America when homosexuals of the era knew how to blend and not call attention to themselves. Or else. Regulate gays back into the closet, if that’s what it takes to clean things up? That’s him.

Please Ecce H., taken yourself off that cross. Young, immature behavior is as old as the human race… even the US government will not regulate that completely away.

All these comments prove my inital point. You people are quite happy to make assholes of yourselves in order to justify why you act like stupid, childish dirtbags who use drugs, have promiscous sex, and are generally pathetic unproductive members of society.

In fact, most of you are the reason our society is in decline. So how about this, you all move to africa, write treatises on the virtues of moral relativism, and suck at each other cocks of cynical group think.

Posted by ecce homo | July 14, 2007 12:11 PM

Ecce, I blew all my money this month on meth. Will you pay my way to Africa?

Posted by sketchy homo | July 14, 2007 2:33 PM

Just for ecce, I did a big o' rail of crank just now, and after barebacking in the park all night, I'm going to go masturbate on the sidewalk in front of a church tomorrow morning as the early service starts with a big sign around my neck that says "ecce from the slog". Fuck this is going to be a great weekend.

I must be the real racist because I didn't realize the previous post about the leprechaun sightings was racist. Oh, systemic racism, how you mock me!

If showing black people acting like morons on the news is racist, then does linking to this make me a self-hating white Midwesterner?

Posted by Ryan | July 16, 2007 1:43 PM

wow, so special and here I am posting.
this thread just got boring. time to move on and talk about something else. to the guy who is trying to be the next rosie, get off you vibrating dildo and put a real dick in there. telling everyone here about your obvious, under 25, point of views is old.
yeah, people snort n fuck, get use to it. ya don't like it? chop your dick off and buy a vagina. better yet, actually work with victims with the issues, get a true handle of what the situation is. THEN you can fucking preach about how small your daddy is.
rest of ya, great, you've had your fun so let's move on.
Adrian has a point, there needs to be a discussion of what's going on around seattle, but with (ahem!) a baby gay without any real knowledge screeching to have his shorts changed... no.

let this kill this meaningless thread.
