I saw the show last night and met the man. It is an amazing time capsule of an artists life and an opportunity to to see a life span of Byrd's intimate and dream like perspective on life. He was gracious and humble as he sat in the midst of this large show of his work. I was very moved and am looking forward to spending more time in the gallery over the next few weeks soaking up the vibe of a life fulfilled. I say it's the MUST SEE SHOW in Seattle right now.
