Short Film Fridays

Posted by on Fri, Apr 6, 2012 at 5:03 PM

This week's short is Loghouse Media’s “Still,” a doc about a traditional Native American hunter. The film has three layers: one, the killing a wild animal; two, the religious beliefs surrounding the preparation of a wild animal; and three, the laws and history that inform current Native Americans/US government relations. Loghouse Media, a local film organization, is keeping it real. Their video hides nothing.

Good choice.

Hey, it's going to be a sunny weekend, so head over to Seattle Center and give the new Totem Pole a Happy Easter hug!
