Slab Sandwich & Pie on Capitol Hill has created a platter filled with three, two-foot-long Super Bowl-themed sandwiches: The T. Brady Fully Inflated Grinder (salame, coppa, prosciutto, smoked provolone, and Mama Lil’s peppers), Legion of Boom (burrata, black olive tapenade, sun-dried tomatoes, arugula), and Beast Mode (pork confit, smoked brisket, crispy chicken skin, and Gruyère). The platter, which feeds six and costs $120, includes one of each sandwich, a quart of sunchoke chips, caramelized onion and truffle dip, and salted chocolate chip cookies.

Tom Douglas Restaurants have also made a special Super Bowl menu available, including buffalo chicken pizzas (take and bake or pick up hot), pretzels and little smokies from Brave Horse Tavern, ancho beef chili, or wood-grilled chicken wings with coriander cream. (At $3 a pop, the wings are not cheap, but if you have the dough and these are the same wings that they serve at Palace Kitchen, you’d be wise to just do it. We’re champions after all.)
