Short Run, Seattle's beloved small-press comics and literature festival, has been based out of Washington Hall for the past two years. It's been a great space for Short Run, with its two big floors of exhibitor space, a performance area, and lots of room for food trucks outside. But this year, Washington Hall is being renovated, so for the second time in its short life—it started at the Vera Project—Short Run has had to branch out and find a new home for its annual festival.

Today, Short Run organizers announced on Facebook that the 2015 show will take place on Saturday, October 31, at Fisher Pavilion in the Seattle Center, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. I'm excited about Short Run taking over an even-bigger space, although that Halloween date could be problematic for some folks. So it's good that they're giving you lots of advance notice. Save Halloween morning and early afternoon for Short Run, then go about your usual Halloween business in the evening. Start planning your small-press comics costumes now.
