"There's Been an Awful Lot of Criticism of Police in the Last Few Weeks and Very Little Show of Support" So says King County sheriff John Urquhart. "You can support the police without being a racist," he writes, while instructing all deputies to wear black bands across their badges in solidarity with the police officers killed on Saturday in New York. "I think it’s important we recognize these two officers" who were "flat-out assassinated."

The Man Who Assassinated Those Cops Had Been Arrested 20 Times: "Mainly for petty crimes like stealing condoms from a Rite Aid drugstore in Ohio." He also had mental health issues and a history of gun-related violence.
