If you're looking for a spot to do some holiday shopping for your unconventional friends and family members who appreciate unique, hand-crafted goods—with the bonus of hearing good DJs and Seattle post-punk titans So Pitted at the same time—the ArtAche Market at Chop Suey offers several options. According to organizer Marz Martinez, this Sunday's market is the biggest ArtAche yet, presenting over 30 local vendors and artisans peddling vintage clothes, soaps, gems, crystals, art, jewelry, holiday cards, books, tarot readings, tchotchkes, and more. Before and after So Pitted's set, music's provided by DJs R-Pal and ktel. ArtAche runs from 1 pm-6 pm and is free. More info here.

Stranger freelancer Brittnie Fuller called So Pitted “one of Seattle's most raucous and sludge-centric fuzz-punk bands,” and she's right.
