Tomorrow, the Coterie Room plays host to the popping up of the Depressed Cake Shop, which bakes gray, forlorn-looking cakes to raise awareness about depression. If you can't endure moody pastries, direct yourself instead toward the special wine tasting and tour happening at the Almquist Family Vintners, one of Seattle's urban wineries.

At Saturday's benefit for Northwest Harvest, you can eat while helping others do the same. And then swing by the Central Co-Op on Madison, where a host of special cheeses will be making themselves available to you during the Cascadia Cheese Festival.
