Seattle hard-rock mainstays Kinski will be issuing two new releases in the first half of 2015. The first is a split 12-inch with Seattle power trio Sandrider on local indie Good to Die Records, which will come out February 17; the second’s a full-length due out in mid April via Kill Rock Stars. These are Kinski’s first new offerings since 2012’s solid rock beast, Cosy Moments.

Good to Die boss Nik Christofferson elaborated on the joint release. "Sandrider had three excellent tracks leftover from the Godhead sessions that we planned to release earlier in the year, but the release didn't pan out. We kicked around ideas of bands to do a split with and Kinski came up, as we are all big fans. The Sandrider side features two originals and one cover that were recorded by Matt Bayles during the Godhead sessions. The Kinski side features tracks from their recent recording session with Phil Manley of Trans Am." The cover is a massive slab of late-'80s rock that lends itself extremely well to the band's strengths. This split be available on LP and digital formats. Christofferson says he's working on record-release shows, as well.

Kinski's next live appearance is at the renovated Sunset Tavern October 9 with Broken Water and Scriptures.
